I creative directed for EBONY for Black Music Month and with so much range within the current state of music, the last thing I wanted to do was box US in so with that in mind, I curated the  "Freedom In The Present" list . See here for the list of 50 Black artists who are leaving a stamp on today's soundscape—reminding all generations that music is meant to push the envelope (pun intended).
